Pets give us unconditional love and share it with everyone they meet. That love and happiness is what pet therapy is all about. Those of us who do animal-assisted interactions with our dogs, cats, miniature horses and other pets, see this delight, peacefulness and cheer spread every day. We touch the lives of elderly nursing home patients, children learning to read, distraught people in the courthouse, weary and nervous travelers at the airport, upset and distressed hospice families, parents of pediatric patients and countless others.
Whether you currently volunteer in animal assisted interactions, plan to in the future or just want to learn more. Learn about our inaugural membership program and your opportunity to become a Charter Member of TAC.
